Ardmore Language Schools
Ardmore Language Schools run summer English courses for students from all over the world in 19 residential and two non-residential centres across the UK. We hold British Council accreditation and are the first language school in the UK to have received Travel Safe Gold Accreditation.
Every year we carefully select over 550 summer staff from thousands of applicants from the UK and Europe. We offer residential and non-residential positions and, where possible, let applicants choose a location they want to work at. If residential, we offer full board and accommodation free of charge (no salary deductions). Our standard contract length is for four weeks, however, we offer extensions of up to four weeks in the summer. We also have positions available at Easter and throughout the year during the off season.
We pride ourselves in offering comprehensive training into all our roles, including Ardmore-specific Online Training & Safeguarding, residential Management Training, self access Continuous Professional Development programmes and role specific Induction training for all staff. We also provide every employee with a Staff Handbook, regular appraisal and feedback to all our staff as well as references at the end of employment. Our teachers work with six levels of Ardmore workbooks, Teacher’s notes, toolkits and audio materials.

Cambridge Academy of English
We believe language learning should be fun so our courses combine traditional language lessons with activity-based workshops, a varied social programme and a range of sports, activities and excursions.
CLAC courses are truly international - we do not accept large single nationality groups and we limit the total of any single nationality. Concorde International is a British Council accredited organisation which runs summer courses in various locations around the UK. We currently have vacancies for non-residential qualified EFL teachers and residential qualified EFL teachers at our Cambridge centre, which is based at St. Mary’s School, Cambridge. These vacancies commence in early July, and contracts normally run for four or five weeks. The salary is from £310 per week for residential & non-residential teachers. Residential teachers will perform extra activities and residential duties in return for half or full board accommodation. 12.1% holiday pay is paid on top. Teachers normally teach 20 hrs per week plus 15 hours of activities for non-residential and 19 hours of activities and residential duties for non-residential.

St Giles Summer
St Giles is a British Council accredited organisation which runs summer courses in various locations around the UK. We currently have vacancies for non-residential qualified EFL teachers and residential qualified EFL teachers at our Cambridge centre, based at Cambridge University. Contract dates are 01/07 - 14/08, age range of students is 14 to 18. The salary is £300 per week for residential teachers (including full board) and £394.80 for non-residential teachers. 12.1% holiday pay is paid on top. Teachers normally teach 16.7 hrs per week plus 28 hours non-teaching duties for residential and 18 hours non-teaching duties for non-residential. We are also looking for people to fill the following residential vacancies: Centre Managers, Academic Managers, Activity Organisers and Activity Monitors.
Stafford House Study Holidays is accredited by The British Council and has been running summer courses for juniors around the UK since 1994. We are part of Cambridge Education Group, which includes sixth-form colleges and Foundation programmes in partnership with leading UK universities. Teachers are fully supported by a syllabus, in-house student workbooks, weekly teacher development workshops and a Director of Studies and Senior Teachers at each centre. The working week consists of 42 hours spread over 6 days and includes 2 hours admin time.
