Ardmore Language Schools
Ardmore Language Schools run summer English courses for students from all over the world in 19 residential and two non-residential centres across the UK. We hold British Council accreditation and are the first language school in the UK to have received Travel Safe Gold Accreditation.
Every year we carefully select over 550 summer staff from thousands of applicants from the UK and Europe. We offer residential and non-residential positions and, where possible, let applicants choose a location they want to work at. If residential, we offer full board and accommodation free of charge (no salary deductions). Our standard contract length is for four weeks, however, we offer extensions of up to four weeks in the summer. We also have positions available at Easter and throughout the year during the off season.
We pride ourselves in offering comprehensive training into all our roles, including Ardmore-specific Online Training & Safeguarding, residential Management Training, self access Continuous Professional Development programmes and role specific Induction training for all staff. We also provide every employee with a Staff Handbook, regular appraisal and feedback to all our staff as well as references at the end of employment. Our teachers work with six levels of Ardmore workbooks, Teacher’s notes, toolkits and audio materials.

- If you hold qualifications in dance, drama, sports, languages, First Aid or Lifeguard
- If you are an English as a Foreign Language Teacher and hold a CELTA, Trinity Cert TESOL, DELTA, Trinity Dip TESOL, PGCE in English or equivalent recognised by the British Council

As an employer, we value our staff and are always open to feedback.
